The project was divided into three (3) progressing stages. Stages 1 and 2 involved the closure of approximately 40 acres, with the remaining 42 acres performed in conjunction with Stage 3. The work for each stage consisted of erosion and sediment controls, miscellaneous site demolition, onsite below cap excavation and grading, geosynthetic liner system installation, importation of soil cap cover layer, geocomposite/HDPE drainage installation, storm drainage management and installation, aggregate resurfacing, and site stabilization.
