Phillips Infrastructure Corp. has been named No. 92 on Engineering News-Record’s 2026 Top 400 Contractors list, moving up from No. 138 in 2025 and entering the national Top 100 for the first time.
ENR's annual ranking measures the 400 largest U.S.-based contractors, both publicly and privately held, based on construction contracting revenue from the previous year. It is widely recognized across the industry as a benchmark of contractor scale and market reach.
For Phillips, the move reflects continued growth in the infrastructure markets where dependable execution matters most: water, industrial and commercial, mining, power, environmental, and disaster recovery.
“Breaking into the Top 100 is an important milestone,” said Gerry Arvidson, Chief Operating Officer of Phillips and President of Phillips Heavy, Inc. “It reflects the confidence clients have placed in us to take on more complex projects, and it reflects the quality of the people across Phillips who deliver these projects safely, productively, and with a high level of accountability.”
That growth is rooted in a business model built for difficult work. Phillips takes on projects where schedules are tight, conditions can shift quickly, and teams need the ability to solve problems in the field, not simply coordinate them from a distance.
Through its self-perform model, Phillips crews handle many critical scopes including heavy civil construction, earthwork, utilities, concrete, mechanical work, remediation, and restoration. With more than 740 pieces of equipment in its fleet, the company can mobilize the people and machinery needed to execute major work at scale.
At the same time, Phillips also relies on a network of trusted subcontracting partners for specialized expertise and added capacity on larger projects.
