Morgan brings more than two decades of experience in utility infrastructure, project management, and client relations to his role, where he leads the strategic direction and operations of Phillips Power.
Having joined Phillips in 2004, Morgan advanced through roles including Estimator, Project Manager, and Executive on transmission line and substation projects for utility clients across the U.S. For over 20 years, he has built and managed those relationships while guiding Phillips’ strategy on capital and O&M projects and programs—from bid-build to full EPC contractor with an array of innovative go-to-market approaches.
As President of Phillips Power, Morgan oversees Renewable Energy, Transmission, Distribution & Substation, Grid Modernization, Power Infrastructure, and Storm Response & Re-electrification services. Additionally, Morgan leads Phillips’ Disaster Response market, ensuring we deliver critical services when communities need them most.
Morgan has spearheaded strategic growth objectives that have expanded Phillips’ Power capabilities to deliver ground-to-grid solutions across the market. He led the successful transition from a traditional single-service provider to a self-perform turnkey T&D and EPC renewable contractor. He drives alternate delivery strategies, project data capture and reporting systems, project performance innovation, and Phillips' uncompromising commitment to safety.
As part of the Phillips Executive Team and a member of the Phillips Board of Directors, he oversees business capture, client management, strategic planning, and execution of major transmission, substation, civil power, electrical, and EPC solar related work across the enterprise.
